Designing Cache Cow

CacheCow is a biometric intelligence platform designed to help farmers understand, protect and manage the health of their cattle. The creative direction moves beyond the sterile visual language of agtech, building a world rooted in legacy, the earth and the raw physicality of farming.

Rather than presenting technology as something separate from the animal, the identity centres on bodies, movement, land and muscle - making complex biometric data feel immediate, tangible and alive. CacheCow’s sensing technology interprets biometric activity across three ternary states, forming the foundation of the logo, iconography and wider visual system.

These states are mapped directly across the cow’s body, connecting the data to the muscles and movements generating it: not information placed over the animal, but intelligence emerging from within it. Motion runs throughout the identity, using subtle directional blur and responsive graphic elements to suggest a system continuously observing, interpreting and learning.

The same thinking extends into a mobile app design and dashboard, allowing farmers to monitor individual animals and herd-wide patterns, receive urgent health alerts and create biometric fencing through a clear, practical interface.
